High-Capacity Heating for Demanding Commercial Projects

Air-to-water heat pump platform developed for projects requiring substantial heating output, stable operation and flexible system integration.

A 93-186kW Commercial Heat Pump for Centralized Hydronic Systems

This product is a high-capacity commercial air source heat pump designed to transfer heat from outdoor air into a centralized water heating system.

It can be connected to buffer tanks, fan coil units, underfloor heating, domestic hot water tanks and other hydronic equipment according to the project design.

Product Positioning A large-capacity heating platform for commercial buildings, centralized hot water systems and industrial facilities—not a residential household heat pump.

01 FULL DC INVERTER

Output That Follows Actual Demand

The full DC inverter commercial heat pump system modulates heating and cooling output to match the building load, maintaining steadier water temperature with less frequent part-load cycling.

02 SUMMER COOLING

Gentler Hydronic Cooling

The commercial air to water heat pump supplies chilled water to compatible terminals for even cooling with fewer cold drafts. Correct water-temperature and dew-point control can reduce excessive dehumidification.

03 AS LITTLE AS 2 MIN

Shorter Defrost Interruptions

Dynamic monitoring identifies actual frost buildup. Parallel capillary and expansion-valve paths redirect refrigerant quickly for rapid defrost under applicable conditions.

04 ANTI-ICING

Less Ice Around the Evaporator

Branch subcooling and dual enhanced-vapor-injection design help defrost water drain before refreezing, reducing base ice and blocked drainage in winter.

05 MULTI-LAYER

Water-Side Freeze Protection

Two-stage circulation and heating protection responds to low water temperature. Flow monitoring, emergency drain-down and a large-volume exchanger add protection during abnormal conditions.

06 ≤74 dB(A)

Commercial Airflow, Controlled Noise

A high-volume fan supports heat exchange at demanding loads, while inverter and soft-start control reduce abrupt speed changes and start-up impact.

Cooling comfort depends on terminal type, chilled-water temperature and dew-point control. Defrost time, noise level and protection functions should be referenced with the selected model, configuration and test conditions.

How a Commercial Air Source Heat Pump Works

A commercial air to water heat pump does not generate all of its heat from electricity. It uses electrical input to operate the compressor, pumps and controls while moving available heat from outdoor air into the building’s water circuit.

The diagram shows heating mode. In cooling mode, the reversible commercial heat pump system removes heat from the water circuit and releases it outdoors.

01

Absorb Outdoor Heat

Outdoor air passes across the evaporator. The low-pressure refrigerant absorbs available heat and changes into a gas.

02

Raise Its Temperature

The compressor raises refrigerant pressure and temperature. This is where most of the cycle’s electrical input is used.

03

Transfer Heat to Water

The heat exchanger transfers energy from the hot refrigerant to the return water, which then flows to the building or buffer tank.

04

Reduce Pressure and Repeat

The expansion valve lowers refrigerant pressure and temperature before it returns to the evaporator and starts the cycle again.

The available heating capacity is 93–186 kW at A20°C/W55°C. Because each commercial heat pump can be customized, final selection should be based on the project heat load, winter design temperature and required water temperature.

Yes. Multiple units can be connected through a cascade control system for staged capacity, operating rotation and backup. The final unit quantity and hydraulic arrangement should be confirmed according to the total project load.

The maximum outlet water temperature is 62°C, with a rated outlet temperature of 55°C. Actual achievable temperature and heating capacity depend on ambient temperature, inlet water temperature and system operating conditions.

Heating capacity and COP generally decrease as outdoor temperature falls. The operating ambient range is −36°C to 45°C. At A−12°C/W55°C, the available heating capacity is 51–102 kW with a COP of 2.43. Project selection should still be based on the site’s winter design temperature.

The standard power supply is 3P / 380V / 50Hz. Depending on the customized configuration, maximum input current ranges from 64.5 to 129 A. Cable sizing, circuit protection and grounding must be designed from the approved nameplate data by a qualified electrical engineer according to local regulations.

The commercial heat pump has an energy efficiency class of A++. Final efficiency and certification details depend on the selected configuration, operating conditions and applicable market standard.
